Udayan School of Social Leadership

Reimagining leadership for a rising Bhaarat. An immersive learning journey for young changemakers (ages 18–25) to build real-world leadership grounded in Bharatiya wisdom and global innovation.

Who is it for?

About USSL

Udayan School of Social Leadership (USSL) is an intensive program for youth who want to lead with purpose. More than just a degree program, it is a real-world, deeply reflective leadership journey designed to create the next generation of entrepreneurs, policy-shapers, family business leaders, and social change agents.

Who is it not for?

USSL is for young Indians aged 18 to 25 years who:

  • Feel called to contribute to nation-building

  • Want to go beyond mainstream academia

  • Aspire to build enterprises, influence policy, or carry forward legacy businesses with integrity

  • Believe leadership is service, Seva, not just status

Those looking for passive classroom learning, conventional credentials, or linear career tracks without a vision for change.

Why USSL Now?

Young urban Indians today are often disconnected from real-world India. USSL bridges this gap through:

  • Immersive travel across the country (rural & urban)

  • Learning leadership through the lens of Bhaaratiya history and Arthashastra

  • Solving problems using modern management tools like Design Thinking, Systems Innovation & Behavioral Science

  • Mentorship from changemakers, social entrepreneurs, business leaders, and elders

  • Redefining success through Arthasampada — prosperity that is value-driven, sustainable and ethical

Each phase is inspired by the natural cycle of thriving ecosystems:

Creation (Shushrusha) – Consolidation (Abhyasa) – Expansion (Sadhana) – Renewal (Siddhi)

  • Team commitment: You will be placed in a group where people rely on you. No last-minute dropouts, no unannounced absences, no going missing mid-task. If you can’t show up fully, say so — but never disappear.

  • Integrity: We expect honesty in your effort, your feedback, and your mistakes. If you fall short, own it. If you need help, ask. Trust is built on truth.

  • Discipline with warmth: This is a shared space of learning. Be kind, respectful, and fully engaged. Keep phones away. Listen when others speak. Be the person you’d want to work with.
